Prime Minister Narendra Modi paid floral tributes to Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel on his 150th birth anniversary at the Statue of Unity in Gujarat. The event was part of the Rashtriya Ekta Diwas celebrations. PM Modi also participated in the 'Ekta Diwas Parade' and visited the Museum and Exhibition at the Statue of Unity. Home Minister Amit Shah mentioned that PM Modi fulfilled Sardar Patel's dream of a unified India by abrogating Article 370.
